Sunset Behind Granite Mountain, Scottsdale, AZ

Sunsets in the desert southwest seem to be more dramatic and last longer than they do in the Northeast. This photograph was taken from the future site of a friend's house, and the color got more and more intense as we watched.

The sunset was so dramatic that I never saw the power lines in the lower left corner of the image. I removed them with Photoshop.
