Avalanche Lake Inlet, Glacier NP

This photograph shows Avalanche Lake from its south end. The stream in the foreground comes from Monument Falls, and contains meltwater coming directly from the snowfields on the mountains behind my vantage point. I waited an hour for the people in the foreground to leave before making this picture.
