Sunset, Interlochen Trail, NY

My wife and I were hiking the Interlochen branch of the Finger Lakes Trail in New York when we came across this sunset. Photographic purists eschew airplane contrails as being unnatural--true enough, but they are an inescapable part of today's world, and they can sure jazz up a sunset. I modified this image by removing one distracting contrail that was going in an odd direction.
